Preventive, Medical, and Routine Vision Solutions
Comprehensive Eye Exams
An annual eye exam is a window into your overall health. At Riverview Eye Care, each comprehensive exam is customized to your specific medical and visual needs. We evaluate the full ocular system and screen for early signs of systemic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol irregularities.
We recommend yearly exams for patients of all ages — even those without noticeable symptoms.
Contact Lens Fitting
Contact lenses are a trusted vision solution for many of our patients. Whether you need dailies, multifocal, toric lenses, or a specialty fit like custom RGP, our doctors will guide you to the best option for your eye health, lifestyle, and comfort.
Not sure where to start? We’re here to help you find a better fit.
Family Eye Care
We provide care for the whole family — from young children to older adults — in a setting that’s warm, calm, and medically thorough. Pediatric exams include screening for common visual conditions like nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and lazy eye.
We believe every child deserves clear, comfortable vision to support learning and development. Our team takes the time to ensure kids feel at ease and parents feel informed.
Emergency Eye Care
If you’re experiencing sudden eye pain, redness, blurred vision, or flashes and floaters, you need care fast. Our doctors are trained in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular emergencies, including:
- Conjunctivitis (pink eye) and allergic reactions
- Foreign body removal
- Acute vision changes
- Ocular injuries and infections

Myopia Management
Myopia (nearsightedness) is increasingly common, especially among school-aged children. Left unchecked, it can progress rapidly and increase the risk of long-term complications.
We offer MiSight® 1 Day, the only FDA-approved soft contact lens proven to slow the progression of myopia in children ages 8–12. These lenses are worn during the day, removed at night, and can help preserve ocular health into adulthood.
Unsure if your child is ready for contact lens? We are proud to prescribe and offer a glasses solution. The Stellest Lens is the first FDA authorized spectacle lens shown to slow myopia progression in children.
Ask our doctors about which myopia management program would work best for you child during their next eye exam.
Dry Eye Care
Dry eye isn’t always caused by a lack of tears — it’s often a dysfunction in the glands that keep your tears stable and protective. At Riverview Eye Care, we take a medical approach to dry eye by first identifying the root cause and then tailoring treatment accordingly.
Meibography Imaging
We use non-invasive meibography to examine the structure and function of your meibomian glands — the glands responsible for producing the oils that stabilize your tear film. This gives us a clear picture of whether your symptoms are related to gland blockages, atrophy, or inflammation.
In-Office Treatments
When needed, we offer advanced therapies right in our clinic:
Forma-I
Forma-I uses gentle radiofrequency energy to warm the skin around the eyes, melt gland blockages, stimulate oil flow, and reduce periocular inflammation.
Lumecca-I
Lumecca-I applies controlled intense pulsed light (IPL) to reduce inflammatory blood vessels, demodex bacteria, and redness associated with chronic dry eye and ocular rosacea.
Both are non-invasive procedures performed by our doctors and may reduce the need for ongoing prescription drops or artificial tears.
Your treatment plan will be based on diagnostic findings, symptom severity, and your overall ocular health.
